Ways to work together

The real cost isn't the coaching.
It's another year in the wrong seat.

Three ways to work with me — from a single deep-dive session to a full career-by-design partnership. Every one starts with the same thing: your actual values, made visible and turned into a plan.

Success and fulfillment aren't the same thing. These close the gap.

Questions

Before you decide.

What should I expect during my first session?
Your first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. We'll start by getting clear on what's actually going on — not just the surface-level frustration, but the deeper disconnect driving it. Most clients come in knowing something feels off; we work together to name it precisely. You'll leave with more clarity than you arrived with, and a sense of what we'll focus on together. No homework, no pressure — just honest thinking alongside someone who's been in the room where decisions like yours get made.
How many sessions do I need?
That depends on where you are and how deep you want to go. Some clients get what they need in a single Clarity Package — one focused conversation that cuts through the noise and points them in the right direction. Others find that sustained momentum requires a longer partnership, especially when they're navigating a major transition or rebuilding confidence after a setback. We'll assess that together after our first conversation. There's no upsell here — I'll tell you honestly what I think you need.
Can you help if I want to change industries?
Absolutely — in fact, industry transitions are some of the most meaningful work I do. The challenge isn't usually the industry itself; it's knowing which of your values, skills, and experiences travel with you and which ones you're ready to leave behind. Using a structured, values-first approach, we'll get clear on what you're actually moving toward — not just what you're running from. That clarity makes the transition intentional rather than reactive.
Is coaching only for job seekers?
Not at all. Many of my clients are succeeding by every external measure — title, salary, influence — but privately experiencing what I call The Misalignment Trap: the gap between where they are and where they actually want to be. Coaching is for anyone ready to close that gap, whether that means a career change, a leadership shift, a promotion push, or simply figuring out why Sunday nights feel dreadful when Monday should feel exciting. If something feels off, that's reason enough.
How is this different from working with a recruiter or career counselor?
Recruiters fill roles — they're working for the company, not for you. Career counselors often focus on resume polish and job search tactics. I focus on something more foundational: helping you understand what you actually want and why, so every move you make from here is intentional. My approach is built on a scientific core values methodology that produces rankings you can trust — not vague self-reflection exercises. Think of it as strategy before tactics.
What makes your approach "scientific"?
My core values assessment uses true ipsative scoring — the same methodology behind peer-reviewed research like Schwartz's Portrait Values Questionnaire. That's a fancy way of saying: instead of asking you to rate everything on a scale (where everything ends up "very important"), you're forced to make real trade-offs. The result is a ranking that actually reflects your priorities, not just what you think you should value. It's the difference between data you can act on and feel-good noise.
What if I don't know what I want?
That's not a problem — it's the starting point. Most people who reach out to me don't have a fully formed vision; they have a nagging feeling that something needs to change. Clarity isn't a prerequisite for coaching; it's often the first thing we build together. Through structured conversation and a values assessment that produces real results, we'll move from "I don't know" to "here's exactly what matters to me and why" faster than you'd expect.
Do you work with executives and senior leaders?
Yes — and it's work I'm particularly well-suited for. After 25 years in tech and e-commerce strategy at Dell Technologies, I understand the pressures, trade-offs, and unspoken dynamics that come with operating at a senior level. I'm not going to be impressed by your title or intimidated by your situation. If you're a C-suite leader wondering whether your next chapter should look different from your last, we should talk.
Are sessions virtual or in person?
Virtual. We meet over Google Meet, so we can work together whether you're across town or across time zones. You'll get a booking link to grab times that fit your schedule, and everything — your assessment, frameworks, and session notes — lives digitally, so it's easy to pick back up between conversations.
What if I start and decide it's not working?

Then we stop. I'm not interested in keeping clients who aren't getting value — that's not good for either of us. My goal is for you to leave every session with something concrete: a clearer perspective, a decision made, a direction confirmed. If that's not happening, I want to know immediately so we can adjust or part ways cleanly. You're investing real time and money here. I take that seriously.

If at any point after your second session you feel coaching isn't delivering value, I'll refund the unused portion of your package — no awkward conversations required. My goal is results, not recurring revenue.
